The stipulate was to be effected in June, 2008.
Fly Ash: The fly ash is collected dust from the coal fired electric power plant, the major components are the oxide of Silicon, aluminum, iron, magnesium. In China, the fly ash is up to 1 million tons and growing quickly day by day. The fly ash, improperly handled, will generate dust; river discharge into the river will cause congestion, pollution of water sources, which will be harmful ingredients to human body and biological hazards. It is an urgent topic to program effective solution to solve the fly ash.
Coal Gangue: The coal gangue is resulting from Tunneling, mining and coal washing in the discharge of solid waste, which is the mixture of Carbon, silt, sand, stone and shale stone. The productivity is about 10 million tons per year. The assemble of coal gangue will occupy the land; cause the air pollution, water pollution and spontaneous combustion fires.
Recently, Chinese government formulated a series of principles and policies to utilize all kinds of construction wastes, including tax-free on use of industrial waste and production of new wall materials; 5-year tax-free collected on use of coal gangue, fly ash and stone powder; Land use tax-free to new wall materials company; VAT-free to the products which is more than 30% of the gangue, fly ash and slag. Series of government measures to give us the best opportunity; we should make better use of this opportunity to make our contribution.
